What's the Number One Thing Keeping You Stuck? Here's What To Do About It.

Now, I know no-one wants to admit they are not perfect but this challenge is all about taking responsibility and identifying the self-sabotaging behaviours that are holding you back from your dream career/life/romance.

This can include things like:

Bitching about co-workers

Always coming to work late

Too many days off because you had too much wine the night before

Refusing to try online dating

Too much social media

Too much Netflix

We all have areas we can improve upon.

I am no exception. For example – I spent way too much time on Facebook. I estimate that I wasted at least an hour a day on there but sometimes two. That’s a whole 20+ pages I could have written in the same time so was absolutely self-sabotaging my career.

To get around it, I put a timer on my phone (you can do this easily in settings) that limits Facebook to ten minutes a day. I don't miss out on anything on Facebook cause ten minutes a day is enough to keep up with what's happening AND I get so much more done. Next completed novel come at me!

Your challenge this week is to write a list of all the behaviours that are not helping your career. Once you have identified what it holding you back, you can work out how to eliminate them.
